We live in interesting times

More than fifty years ago, US politician Robert Kennedy said, “Like it or not, we live in interesting times. They are times of danger and uncertainty.” He could have been talking about our situation today.
It seems as if the bottom has fallen out of our familiar reality. Like you, I have never experienced anything like what we are going through right now.

It’s very difficult to hear my clients’ stories of dread and fear, deep anxiety about how little we know of what lies ahead. Faced with these difficult and rapidly changing times, we take comfort in what we know for sure. So I come back to something you’ve heard me say through the years, “in life, we have to play the hand we are dealt.”

Today’s financial situation has created unprecedented challenges and we need to take full advantage of every available tool and opportunity to come through the Covid crisis as successfully as possible. Which is why I have made the decision to once again directly offer a comprehensive and expanded menu of financial services, including investments, insurance, and estate planning.

As many of you know, after a diversified 25-year career in the Financial Services Industry, I hung up my Securities and Insurance licenses a couple of years ago. I didn’t want any possible misperception that my advice was motivated by profits from promoting a particular investment or insurance product, so I completely stopped selling them.

I radically changed my business model and followed my professional passion, concentrating exclusively on Financial Wellness Coaching.

In light of our new normal, however, I have reconsidered that decision. I will always offer every client a listening ear, a strong shoulder to lean on, and a comprehensive, individualized approach to financial planning. But to do so, especially in today’s reality, it’s time for me to provide you with even more.

I have activated my financial licenses and can once again fully utilize my years of specialized knowledge and experience in the services I offer. You can depend on the level of excellence you have come to expect and on my steadfast commitment to the highest ethical standards. Most of my clients have heard from me in recent weeks to discuss their personal situation and I will continue reaching out to you.

When Robert Kennedy spoke of the hardship his country faced, he went on to say that those times were also “the most creative of any time in the history of mankind.” It’s in that spirit that I extend my financial support in the days and weeks and months ahead. I invite you to contact me at any time.

Be well and stay safe!
